A small shop in Los Angeles with a very long memory
Glamour Store Life is wigs, eyelashes, scarves and fashion nails — and the person behind it who helps you choose them. It started with one friend getting ready for something that mattered, and it grew the only way a good shop can: by word of mouth.
How we choose what goes in the shop
Every piece is picked by hand. We look for hair that moves the way real hair moves and lace that disappears against the skin. We look for lashes with a band soft enough to wear all day. We look for silk with a drape that holds a knot, and press-on nails with a curve that fits an actual hand.
Then we keep the selection tight instead of enormous, because a wall of fifty options helps nobody. What you find here is what we would wear ourselves — and when something is not good enough, it does not go in the shop.
Los Angeles is a city that gets dressed up, and we love that. But most of our customers are not going to a premiere. They are going to work, to church, to a birthday dinner, or to a day they want to feel like themselves again. That is who we buy for.

We hold a tight selection on purpose. Every piece is one we would wear ourselves, and anything that is not good enough never makes it into the shop.

If a wig is not right for your hair or a lash is too much for the occasion, we will say so. We would rather you love it than buy it.
